The Daytime Book Club meets monthly on Tuesdays at 2 pm in the Club's living room. Meeting dates are listed in the calendar as well as online. Books being read are announced in the weekly email blast. All members are invited to attend at any time.
Book Club – Evening

The Evening Book Club meets most months at 7 pm and meeting dates are listed in the calendar and books being read are announced in the weekly email blast. It is open to all members who love to read and look forward to an opportunity to discuss what they have read. It is not required to attend every session – come as often as you wish and whenever a book is being read piques your interest.

Commemorative Brick

This is an ongoing program where members and non-members can purchase engraved bricks to be installed in our Commemorative Brick Walkway. Bricks are used to commemorate, congratulate, console, and celebrate and installation generally occurs once a year in the Fall. If interested in purchasing one, you may do so here.
Garden Committee

The Garden Committee is responsible for the care and preservation of the gardens surrounding the mansion. Garden Gals meet weekly to provide routine plant care such as planting, watering, deadheading, and seasonal pruning to maintain the garden’s appearance and its overall performance. Volunteers can join fellow gardeners on Mondays (any time between 10 am and noon) depending on their availability and for whatever length of time fits into their schedule. If Mondays aren’t convenient and another day is, that’s fine too.

Knitting & Crafts Circle

The Knitting & Crafts Circle meets on the fourth Thursday of the month at 6:30 pm. It is open to all knitters, crocheters, and embroiderers who want to join with fellow crafters, learn from each other, try something new, and share current projects, past successes, and “I’d love to’s.”
Mah Jongg Classes & Free Play

Mah Jongg classes will be offered on a fee basis in September and October. They will be followed by free open-play sessions throughout the year for members who attended the classes and for those who already know how to play.

The Westchester County Federation of Women’s Clubs consists of approximately 16 member clubs and over 1,000 women. For over 60 years, the Federation has provided scholarships to female students at Westchester Community College. The Federation Representative represents our Club at all events, meetings, and workshops and lends her support to these activities in any way possible.

The Side Door Thrift Store

The Thrift Store is located in the basement of the Club and is accessible through an entrance off the driveway to the left of the ballroom. Volunteers meet at the Store every Tuesday from 9:30 am to noon. They prepare donated merchandise for sale, sorting and pricing it by quality and category, styling the displays, and acting as sales associates. (Yes, the Store is open to the public while all this work is going on.)
In addition to its Tuesday sales hours, the Side Door Thrift Store is also responsible for large-scale "pop-up" sales to the general public, and online designer sales to selected e-tailers.
The income from ALL sales goes directly to the Woman's Club Foundation’s philanthropies, including its Scholarship Program.
